and this is eminently avoidable if we reform social entitlements. unfortunately, there's no such thing as an entitlement the Democrats don't want to make bigger. it's how they get votes: promise all the goodies. one of these days, as the UK and Greece have learned, that bill comes due, long after the bastards who made all the promises are either retired or dead...
