Ah.. the days of LARPing. I remember one blustery autumn day back in 2001, I attended a LARP at Hamline University. My name was "Abraham the Sculptor," and, of course, I was a leather-clad vampire. Quickly, I realized that the local Vampire™ LARP scene is indeed a cliquey one, and I was shunned, possibly because I was an outsider to the core group, and possibly because my character Abraham was a young dazzling, talented gentleman who's made-up journey into undeath was so skillfully devised that it set all who heard it into a raging jealousy.
