Yeah, Paul Wellstone was realer than Real Deal Holifield. I had the honor of meeting him in his office in Washington in 2000 and he was probably the most genuine, hard working, passionate politican I've ever seen. A truely good person who should serve as the standard for all politicians. As far as the alleged Rove Cheney plot against him, I'd have to read more about it before I fully endorsed that notion... However, based on all of their other policies, they clearly dont seem to have a problem with getting people killed for thier own political gain.

the "dead guy" technically won, but voters picked carnahan knowing they were actually electing his wife jean carnahan.
but it's way more fun to pretend people preferred a rotting corpse to a christian fundamentalist nutjob.

There is a ton of circumstantial evidence that makes the Wellstone crash a bit fishy. I won't go into more detail on the "EMP" thang…but if you wear a tinfoil hat and are deathly afraid of black helicopters and white vans parked in front of your house, I advise that you look deeper into this Wellstone crash.
Bear in mind, he was about to SCREAM at the top of this lungs in congress (as we was known to do) that a potential Iraq invasion is FUCKED UP.
