You pretty much have to buy the criterion DVD to find it...I looked everywhere. The only alternative is to check out your local public library which might have it.
its available on torrent sites! do a google search for HARLAN COUNTY USA:torrent (making sure to add the ":torrent" at the end) BTW you can search for any movie on google this way... ;) - www.kingpinronin.com

I actually own the Criterion DVD release. Super good, worth the price just for the commentary track.
I looked for it on iTunes but it wasn't on there; where else could I find this?
