I want to make it clear that posting this is not to serve as an endorsement of Obama. For the record, I think that we are living under a totally and utterly corrupt system of government were there simply isn't a viable 'good' option. Admittedly I was one of the many people who thought Obama was gonna usher in a new era of transparency and integrity to this corporatocracy posing as a representative democracy. I've since (re)come to the conclusion that these elections are simply a ceremonial spectacle designed to give us the illusion that we have a say in the matter. The real truth is unless you are a high multi-multi-millionaire or billionaire, your opinions on our democracy dont mean shit. The US presidency is a popularity contest to select who gets to be the next mascot to represent the interests of big business and the international banking cartels.
