Mike Tyson is pound-for-pound the most entertaining person of all time (especially since Anna Nicole Smith is now outta the picture). I blatantly stole this post from my homies at Ando Loco, one of our esteemed colleagues in the gang bloggosphere. It doesn't really make sense to say he's the best "pound for pound". Mike's a heavyweight, so there's no need to qualify. "Pound for pound" is a way to grade on a curve, so you can claim that some flyweight is a better fighter than a man who could snap him like a toothpick.
Your main point stands, though: There's no denying the sheer power that man has to amuse. Till that sportswriter LOVES Mike? Damn. Cause, you know, that's gonna be a long time. Mike love sportswriter long time.
It's been said of certain people that they "wouldn't do well in prison". Not Iron Mike, boy. Mike did fine. Going away was less a looming terror than a scheduling inconvenience.
