I wasn't close friends with him, but he was someone I knew from way back. He was a really nice dude and a true artist. Thanks for everything you have given to the world; you will be missed.

Dude never really seemed to give a fuck about what anyone else was doing and did his best to convey his message, he could have easily played it safe and won over more fans by putting his talent to use in the form of your generic underground rapper but that wasn't the case.
Definitely thank u to eyedea. Not only speaking for myself but hundreds of people in the Midwest that stood by him as an artist when he was growing. And in turn became an irreplaceable part of our young adulthoods. He represented hope and individuality. The opening of many many aspects of my life now are deeply rooted in the discovery of his music. And for that I thank eyedea. Gone but never forgotten.
