On April 21st, we'll open the doors of CO Exhibitions in Northeast Minneapolis to reveal a brand new show from artist Isaac Arvold. No stranger to 1101 Stinson, Isaac was a part of the Almost Famous and Almost Homeless shows at our former First Amendment Arts gallery. He's since moved to New York, traveled across the map with Atmosphere, gone through a big breakup, and lost a few of his prized sketchbooks. Through a few scans and lots of remembering, Isaac's been working to create a series of large paintings based on his lost drawings and notes. Second Hand Emotion will be the culmination of those paintings plus much more from the man himself.
To help cover expenses of documenting his creative process and transporting all of his artwork from NY to Minneapolis, Isaac has set up a Kickstarter campaign. It's getting super close to hitting its goal, so CHECK IT OUT and donate! Let's help this guy put on the best art show he can!
Don't forget to RSVP on Facebook and invite your friends to the opening! See you at CO!
