I Don't Get It

People I respect have told me this is dope. I'm really confused right now as I thought weirdo raps were buried with Cage's career. Is this one of those things where you have to listen to it seventy times before it sinks in? Maybe this is "amazing" the same way Lil B is (i.e., a joke I'm not in on), or like when white nerds acted like they loved Dipset for a year. Based on the positive reaction to this video, I am going to assume this is an elaborate grad school project where everyone pretends to act crazy and studies my reaction.

It's a refreshing change from whatever it is most rappers are talking about these days... I'm not 100% backing it, but it's intriguing.

I thought that was cool. Why don't you like it? Because its weird?

I'm not even saying it's wack. Honestly, I'm oddly intrigued by the whole thing. What I really don't understand is the massive outpouring of praise for this. So many kids online are talking about riding for the OFWGKTA movement (whatever that means).

if you're outside rainbo or the hideout you will hear someone discussing this, real talk.

I was going to say interesting, but yeah intriguing is definitely the word.

Certainly kept my attention to the end, which is failry rare for hiphop these days.

This shit would've been hot on college radio in 1998. But now its just wack.

these kids (they're all around 17) produce all their own shit, do all the artwork and make their own videos. they're amazing. AND they give it all away free
